Life has been busy lately, and I've been neglecting this blog. Apart from vacations in the Magdalen Islands and Scotiland, one other reason is that I have been writing for Warships IFR magazine on naval subjects, such as the refit of HMCS SACKVILLE (May 2018 issue) and the introduction of MV Asterix into the RCN (July 2018 issue). In addition, there are two upcoming articles: an update on SACKVILLE's refit (due in the January 2019 issue) as well as an article about the new HARRY DEWOLF class AOPVs soon to enter RCN service (tentatively due in the February 2019 issue).
Warships IFR is available in limited numbers at Atlantic News at the corner of Morris and Queen streets in Halifax, or through subscription. As a UK magazine, it is fairly pricey here in Canada.

My blog output may pick up a bit this winter, now that vacations are done and I tend to spend some more time around the house.
